Natty Greene’s Brewing Co. Releases Wooden Ladder Kriek Lambic

Greensboro, NC – This fall, Natty Greene’s Brewing Co. will release four highlights of their Sour Program, including the highly anticipated American Sour 2015. Natty Greene’s Sour Program is lead by Brewmaster Scott Christoffel, who is responsible for the creation and cultivation of Natty Greene’s award winning and nationally recognized Sour Series.

Like all well-rounded sours, each of Natty Greene’s four releases have been aged for a minimum of 18 months. The process is long, but well worth the wait. Natty Greene’s Sour Program started in September of 2006 with the first release of American Sour. Since then, their Sour Series has become a highly sought after release in the craft beer industry.

Wooden Ladder Kriek Lambic is a combination of Natty Greene’s American Sour and 200 pounds of fresh cherries, hand-picked from Montmorency cherry orchard in Virginia. The result is slightly funky beer with a strong cherry aroma but not too much sweetness. Wooden Ladder Kriek Lambic will be released in 500 ml bottles at Natty Greene’s tasting room on August 7th.

About Natty Greene’s Brewing Co. –

Dry Dock Brewing Company Releases 2015 Imperial Pumpkin Ale

AURORA, CO— Pumpkin season is upon us! On Thursday, August 6, Dry Dock Brewing Company will release its famed Imperial Pumpkin Ale at Canoe Room at North Dock at 2pm.

This will be the third year that Dry Dock’s Imperial Pumpkin is packaged in 22-ounce bombers. “This beer is a beefier version of the classic Half Moon Pumpkin Ale,” says Dry Dock’s Director of Brewing Operations Doug Hyndman. “When we brew this beer, the brewery smells like Savory Spice’s pumpkin spice blend for a few weeks.”

This spiced Imperial Pumpkin Ale is Autumn in a glass. Real pumpkin added into the mash brings a rich, smooth base to this copper-colored ale. Saigon and Indonesian cinnamons, nutmeg, ginger, allspice, mace and cloves spark thoughts of all of the gruesome things that make fall such a special time of year. Imperial Pumpkin Ale weighs in at 9 percent ABV and 24 IBU. Pair this beer with roasted turkey, garlic mashed potatoes, spicy chili, and chocolate truffles for dessert.

Imperial Pumpkin Ale will tap at Canoe Room at North Dock on Thursday, August 6 at noon. The beer will be available on draft and in 22-ounce bombers through the weekend. Find Imperial Pumpkin Ale at South Dock and in Colorado liquor stores the following week.

If you’d like images, a beer label, or any other information about the Imperial Pumpkin Ale, contact Bill Casadei at billc@drydockbrewing.com.
