Commercial beer production in North Carolina is down and the number of breweries across the state could grow to 150 by year's end. Data from the U.S. Department of Treasury's Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau shows a sharp decline in the manufacture of beer year-over-year from last year.
