With winter beers appearing on shelves and taps since at least September, it takes a special kind of seasonal brew to make drinkers stick with them until the first days of spring. In case those six-packs of dark, malty, holiday-wrapped beers that appeared right after Labor Day weren't enough of an indication, seasonal beer is kind of a big deal in beer circles.
