A beer giant's application for a distribution license in a western Kentucky city has stirred complaints that the venture would upset the state's long-held system for distribution of alcohol. Anheuser-Busch's application was approved by Owensboro's Alcoholic Beverage Control administrator in August amid a flurry of protest letters, the Messenger-Inquirer reported.
