As the Washington Brewers Festival prepares to celebrate its 10th Anniversary this weekend (June 19-21) at King County’s Marymoor Park in Redmond we proudly announce the pouring of a special collaboration brew to mark the occasion.
The full name is “5 for 10″: 10th Anniversary Washington Brewers Festival Collaboration Summer Session Pale Ale.
Brewers from five Washington state breweries who volunteer on the Washington Beer Commission’s Festival Committee joined forces to make this thirst quenching craft beer, perfect for this early summer-like weather! Representatives from Fremont, Elysian, Beardslee, Diamond Knot and Two Beers breweries produced a summer session style pale ale, light and refreshing with notes of citrus. Hops used included: Simcoe, Citra, Belma, Galena, El Dorado, Cascade, and Chinook. Delicious!
Of course this anniversary beer will be poured at the Washington Brewers Festival, (details at washingtonbeer.com) but you can try it before the weekend at 35 different locations in the Puget Sound area!
