Did you know during World War II, the allies had Navy ships equipped with breweries, among other niceties, to help keep up the morale of the troops?

That’s right. The English and American beers at the time didn’t fare well when traveling to the Pacific theater, and the breweries and sake distilleries of Japan were mostly transformed into munitions factories, so multiple Navy ships were fitted with breweries and stationed in the Pacific ocean to quench the thirst of the troops.
