The New Kids on the Block Beer Festival Celebrates Colorado’s Newest Breweries

Spend an evening experiencing Colorado’s emerging breweries

DENVER – Feb. 18, 2016 – The fourth annual New Kids on the Block Beer Festival, presented by Two Parts and PorchDrinking.com, will take place on Thursday, March 24 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at The Lobby (2191 Arapahoe Street, Denver CO).

“New Kids on the Block is quickly becoming an essential part of Colorado Craft Beer Week,” said Tristan Chan of PorchDrinking.com. “It helps to identify Colorado’s talented new crop of breweries and gives them the forum to showcase the innovative new beer they are producing.”

As one of the signature events of Colorado Craft Beer Week, New Kids on the Block highlights the state’s newest breweries. According to the Colorado Brewers Guild, Colorado is home to more than 309 craft breweries, with more than 60 opening in the past two year. From the number of breweries per capita, to production, economic impacts and favorable excise taxes, Colorado remains the state of craft beer.

The new wave of breweries are spread across the state, with many calling Denver home and others taking root in smaller towns like Idaho Springs and Breckenridge. This year the 80s-themed beer festival will feature the following breweries:

Alpine Dog Brewing Co

Baere Brewing Company

Boggy Draw Brewery

Broken Compass Brewing

C Squared Ciders

Call to Arms Brewing Company

Cerebral Brewing

Comrade Brewing Company

Fiction Beer Company

Finkel & Garf

Horse & Dragon Brewing Company

Little Machine Beer

Living the Dream Brewing

Lost Highway Brewing Company

Mockery Brewing

Nighthawk Brewery

Ratio Beerworks

Spangalang Brewery

WeldWerks Brewing

Westbound & Down Brewing Company

“The Colorado beer scene does not appear to be slowing down,” said Tobias Krause of Two Parts. “It used to be that you could visit each brewery as they opened, but now it’s hard to keep up. New Kids on the Block is a great way to experience a good amount of the new guys all in one night.”

Pull out the neon and grab a ticket at twoparts.com. VIP tickets are $45 and include a three course paired beer dinner with Call To Arms Brewing Company. Beer dinner begins at 5:30 p.m. General admission tickets are $30. Festival and general admission starts at 7:00 p.m.
