The American Homebrewers Association announces changes to the National Homebrew Competition style guidelines that will take effect in the 2016 competition.
With recent updates to the Beer Judge Certification Program (BJCP) style guidelines (see the release on the 2015 BJCP Style Guidelines), the American Homebrewers Association has adapted a version of the new style guidelines with a total of 31 categories to use in the 2016 National Homebrew Competition.

About the National Homebrew Competition
The National Homebrew Competition, an AHA/BJCP sanctioned competition, is the world’s largest international beer competition recognizing the most outstanding homebrewed beer, mead, and cider produced by amateur brewers worldwide. The Final Round judging and winners ceremony is held each year during the National Homebrewers Conference.
