[SAAZ] produced an American Homebrewers Association Ninkasi Award winner in 1998. Member Art Beall took home the honor as best homebrewer in the country.
The Society of Akron Area Zymurgists (SAAZ) homebrew club of Akron, Ohio is celebrating their 20th anniversary this year. SAAZ brewed a collaboration beer with Thirsty Dog Brewing Company to celebrate twenty years of homebrewing and beer discovery. The pre-prohibition styled pilsner is on sale in the Akron area.
