San Antonio, Texas – Alamo Beer Company has released it’s first bottled seasonal IPA to the public. ALAMO Holiday IPA was unveiled on Thursday, November 12th at their San Antonio beer hall, located at 202 Lamar Street. The ALAMO Holiday IPA is an American-style India Pale Ale that delivers a spicy Northwest hops bitterness with a cheery citrus and floral aroma. The beer will be available at select bars and restaurants in San Antonio. Additional distribution will reach Houston, Austin, and other Texas markets.
“We are very proud of our brewing process and believe that we have created an IPA that craft beer fans will appreciate during the holidays,” stated Eugene Simor, President and founder of Alamo Beer Company.
ALAMO Holiday IPA has a limited production of 60 barrels, giving customers an opportunity to taste the IPA at it’s fullest flavor. “I want this to be very much an anticipation beer,” said Gregg Spickler, Lead Brewer. “A gift fans will look forward to this time of year, giving them fresh and amazing hops.” The beer hall carries other seasonal drafts, and new bottled additions will be introduced in 2016.
The brewery – named by Timeout-New York as one of the best craft breweries in America – emphasizes easy-drinking beers created in traditional German brewing styles. Alamo Beer Company increased productivity to meet growing demand since opening in early 2015; they currently produce and distribute ALAMO Golden Ale, ALAMO Amber Lager, ALAMO German Pale Ale and ALAMO Pilsner.
To celebrate the release, several ALAMO Holiday IPA Parties are being scheduled. Visit alamobeer.com/events for more details.
